Usually, my weekly videos are related to real estate and mortgages. But I wanted to share something different after a company call today with Walter Niel (our owner at Franklin Loan Center), and he was talking about the 10 things that require zero talent.

These things are critical! I don’t care who you are or what you are doing… these are the most important things anyone can do.

Here’s the list:

1. Being On Time
2. Making an Effort
3. Being High Energy
4. Have a Good Attitude
5. Be Passionate About Things
6. Using Good Body Language
7. Being Coachable
8. Doing a Little Extra
9. Being Prepared
10. Having a Strong Work Ethic

These are all seemingly small choices that makes you look good, and you don’t need any talent to implement these strategies!

Together, We Can Make a Difference

Everyone is focused on so much going on in the world right now. But if we all put a lot more focus into these 10 things, it can make a difference. Every person can follow these tips, and we can all elevate our communities together.

I know this is way off topic from anything related to real estate or mortgages. But when we talked about these things on the call today, it really struck me about how helpful this information can be for everyone. Some of the most important traits are things that you don’t learn in college and these things don’t require any talent.

I’m going to post these 10 things on the wall in my office so I can always see a good reminder every day. Everything can be better when you implement these 10 things, especially when you start to fill in the gaps with knowledge and experience in whatever you are focusing on in your life.
