“The best is yet to come” – this is the theme that is on my mind today! Here we are in this crazy world. So much is happening all around us: elections, Coronavirus, economic fluctuations, politics, and more.

You can probably relate: it feels like we have so much uncertainty and craziness. Even as we are moving back to “normal” activities, things are still pretty weird. School is back in session, but online. The weather is intense with these 100+ degree days, and we are having rolling blackouts. Businesses aren’t fully open yet.

But today I know the best is yet to come. Things will continue to get better and we will find our way through everything that is happening in our community, country, and around the world.

Instead of getting caught up in everything that is hard or different this year, we have a chance to look at the things that are going right. Let’s focus on the fact that our current circumstances are nothing like that we are used to – but having a positive attitude will help us all to get through it a little easier.

25^th Anniversary: The Best Thing in My Life

The best thing that is happening in my life right now is something that is so important to me: my wife and I are celebrating our 25^th anniversary! I’m excited to celebrate with her; we’re heading out of town for a little bit. I know the best is yet to come for us as well, because we’ve built an amazing family.

A lot can happen in 25 years, and it’s been great to share it with my family. I’m looking forward to the next 25… or 35 or 45… whatever life will give us!
