It’s inauguration day! This election has been enlightening because I learned things I didn’t know before, such as how the Electoral College votes are read on January 6th and other steps in the congressional process.

There’s been so much coverage over the new president. But that’s not what I wanted to talk about today! A few pieces of information I’d like to share:

Reading to Improve Business and Personal Habits

This morning, I started a new book: Atomic Habits, by James Clear. It’s a book that’s been on my radar for a while, and it’s fitting for the new year. The principles in the book are great for setting new habits. We all have habits… are your habits helping or hurting your progress?

Every day, we have certain things that we are doing. How is it working out for you? I plan to take a closer look at my habits: work, personal life, exercise, money, and everything else.

I’m just getting started with this book, and I’ll keep you posted about how it goes. One habit that I’d love to encourage everyone to participate in: stop listening to the news! The messages are controlling your thoughts in ways that you might not realize.

Real Estate Panel: Zoom Call on Tuesday

I also wanted to let you know about a Zoom call coming up. We’ve invited 4 great real estate agents to participate – we’re planning to discuss various topics with this panel. Talking about tools people are using and how they are planning to adjust their approach in 2021. It’s always good to hear tips and feedback from people who are out there crushing their businesses.

These real estate agents are at different stages of their careers, and our goal with the call is to provide insights for everyone in the industry.
